Ok so i want to make a "super chiller". For my main rigg.
I have the blocks already. They can hold up to 5 tecs.
My question is how many or how bigg is the psu/s am i going to need to cool water near freezing. I am cooling a 2.8 p4 and an ati 9700 pro.

I know i just had a tec question but that was for my small gaming rigg.

As always thanks for the input and help. I would ask geeks in my area but i am the only computer person i know.

Got enough G's there?

My chiller blocks could only hold 4 tecs. I used 4 172w peltiers for a total of 686w of chilling power. This got water to about -5c.

With 450w of chilling, I got the water to about +5c.

So, you want something around that. My pelt chiller system is still up for grabs in case anyone is interested. Mine is powerful enough to chill water inline with a 226w peltier CPU block for CPU temps of -20c.

The powersupply is your biggest concern. Youll need a big one to do this. You will also have thousands of watts of heat to dispell. Four BIX radiators in series wasn't enough for my system. I eventually gave up in the hopes to move to a phase chilling system, but I'm sure a couple HE120.3 radiators could remove enough heat.

sorry about all the gg's. I am tired from work and sleep dep.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Well i have the room for rads. Lot's of them. But the power is a problem. I see your point. After looking at power supplies the cheapest one i found was 600$.

What did you use for yours if i may ask?
