I was wondering if i got the Meanwell S-240-24 240 Watt if it would be enough to power 1 226 watt tec?

If I'm reading the apecs correctly its rated 10 amps @ 24 volts, seems a bit to light, even considering the higher voltage.

would it be enough for a smaller tec like 140 watt?
I just need it to cool an older video card on an older rig.

I think it would probably manage the 226 ok, the 140 shouldn't be a problem.

thanks.
I can get it for like 20$.
so i thought if i could make it work on my second rigg it would be best for my budget at the moment.

I hope you plan on using a 24v peltier, because you will damage any 15v peltier with that PSU.

You are also cutting the amperage almost in half using a 15v peltier, which means you only have like 6 amps available. Might power an 80w peltier. But this would be a BAD idea.

You could power a 172w 24v peltier quite fine from it.
