ok so its not like sandra that gives you a comparison, so i ask:
is this good? its my 2x80gig raid0 160gb drive spec ed hdd's

Nope, those scores are low.

Use WinBench99, or IoMeter (if you can figgure it out). Check out storagereview.com if they are still around for good info. HDTach does NOT properly measure raid performance because it uses it's own DLLs for HD access, not the actual windows ones.

Um. Yeah, RAID0? Should be getting a peak of at least 80MBs. So I'd say your running/showing scores 20-25% lower than where you should be.

Do you have a PCI Latency setting on that board? When you run RAID, you want to set PCI Latency to like 64 or 96 for best results.

Sandra diskmarks are unreliable...but did 64 improve things? :)
