For security reasons, we won't allow any HTML on this board. However, vB Code does work well, and is a good alternative. Please ask a mod or admin for help with this if you need, or check out the little tutorial here (http://www.liquidninjas.com/bbs/misc.php?&action=bbcode).
Thanks, and sorry for any inconvenience!

I could be being naive here,
but would it be possible to offer a quick post option for non-members? Something where the posts need to be screened by an admin before being displayed. That would keep the rubbish down whilst offering a very flexible forum for guests. I for one was reading this forum and tempted to post for months before I finally joined up.
I know that it would dramatically increase the workload of the admins, but seeing as how we aren't getting any of those posts anyway, if they took a while to be screened, so be it.
It seems that plenty of people have joined purely to ask one or two questions and have never been back since. If they're anything like me, they have probably forgotten their login name and details by now.
Jukst a few thoughts, aside from the spellchecker that someone asked for earlier, I can't think of anything that needs improving.
Great forum. glad I finally joined. How long has it been going for?

Im not keen on letting non-members post. It only takes a few seconds to create an account. I know, its a pain, I have to do this on other boards as well when I visit. But it provides a level of security and checking for our site. If someone gets out of line, we can disable accounts and block IPs. If we let people post anonymously, that would not be possible.
But, if the other admins disagree they can start a conversation in the mods forum. I won't be making any changes until the new site is up on the new server. Actually, thats all ready to go at this point.

Hi Tom,
I don't think there is a need for an Admin discussion on the Mods Forum.
I am in agreement with you there.
Posting should be members only.
Take care........
PS....This is one of the few times we agreed on anything. :D

a trick i learned a while ago was to join a site, and save it as a favorite place with my screenname and password in the name of the shortcut so i dont forget it! pretty slick huh!
