Hi Tom,
Home Depot would have small pumps that are both AC and DC.
Also check out RV Parts Stores and Boat Parts Stores.
The onboard pumps are 12 volts DC.
Do not know how small, but a place to start.
Take care.......

Im actually thinking of trying a koolance exos. Which was basically what I was trying to build anyway. They have really small 12v pumps though that might be worth someting.

Damn that's going to be a test on ingenuity. You're going to have to do a lot of seraching for parts that are small otherwise you'll end up with a huge box strapped to the laptop LOL
Good luck and we want pics when you start this thing.

I'll bet that THIS (http://www6.tomshardware.com/graphic/20030430/index.html) could be taken apart and fit into a laptop!!!
I wonder if they'd just sell the blocks seperate? .....

Yeah, but it wont be available for a couple years, and is only for OEM applications really. But, some pumps will be available soon that will fit thats for sure.
Still, this design doesn't address the problem of heat. Yes, you can use a hotter CPU in this system, but that heat still has to go somewhere, and right on your lap!
The solution is to have a air outlet behind the LCD itself or have an external solution. Which is what I'm going for as soon as I get my notebook back from RMA>
how much room do you have to play with Tom?
