Well here is my setup. Some suggestion on my setting would help me greatly. 1:1 Twinmos PC3700 2x512 4.3NS (not winbond chips), 2.8C, IC7-G, PSU550. I can get her higher but Im not stable with these settings. Failed Prime95 after 20min oh my Cooling is SLK900-U Fan 92 110CFM(loud). Here are some Screenies on my first real OC system, well second one actually
Voltage

Mem 2.8

CPU Default

Please help a brotha out with some suggestion

I doubt it's the CPU. Im sure its the ram giving out. Knock your ram ratio down to 5:4 and see if it fixes the stability issue. If it does, you can TRY to go back to 1:1 and up your DDR voltage to 2.7 or 2.8. Might get it in there. Drop your ram timings back if you can as well.

Could be a ram bug on the IC7 itself effecting you. I cant run PC3200LL on the board because of a latency issue, although the ram is probably some of the best.

The FSB overclocks insanely on this board. I'm typing from my IC7-G doing 280mhz stock on my 2.4C (which is like 3366mhz). Thats with a shitty cooler and no extra voltage anywhere. Burning it in like this. My ram is set to 3:2 and all the lowest timings though, since it doesnt like my ram.

Good luck.

Running 1:1 you've likely hit your RAM limit. 236mhz with TwinMos 3700 is about as far as you'll go. Lowering the timings might help. Going 5:4 is best...the latency penalty is about nil doing this.

That said, running with no extra CPU voltage at all will greatly limit your overclock. I'd think you'd need to up that at least .025 to .050 to get the chip to open up a bit.

With a bit of CPU voltage, and using the 5:4 divisor, I'd think you could get into the 3.6ghz range. This would put you at about 260 FSB wise (260 x 14 = 3640) with you memory running at 208. What you give up by not running the memory higher, you will more than make up by upping the CPU bus.

Thanks for the help everyone , I am using the 1.3 BIOS. I think the Mem may be holding me back as I cant run 250FSB 5:4 stable for more than a few minutes and then Cold boots itself. Im gonna keep testing

I have actually tried to bump it VDIMM to 2.7 and then to 2.8 ans still failing
Prime95 errors out even at 235 FSB

That sounds more like CPU limitation. have you upped the VCore at all?

Man that would suck. :aargh!:

Well can someone help me out on what a descent Mem timing would be I have set Vdimm 2.8 and Ncore 2.6.. Damn this was way to expensive
