how are these clocking

i managed to break my old palamino core, so providing they dont suspect anything i should be getting a new one with a tbred "B" core i hope

how are these clocking on abit kx7s?

Haven't seen alot of results on them, but no reason they shouldn't do well.....

Depending on what multiplier you want you may have to hard code it. My KX7 won't go over 12.5x with a pally A but it's enough for me. :)

Hey Mr.P,
The t-bred b's are good clockers. Depending on the stepping most of the 1800+'s have been hitting similar speeds to the 1700+'s which are dubbed "king" of t-bred b's.

On a KX7, i'd guess FSB near 200Mhz, with good ram, and hopefully a 12.5x multiplier. = 2.5Ghz, but with air cooling and 1.7V, i'd be looking at 2.2-2.3ghz.

i dont have an abit board but i have the new MSIK7n2 and have a non modified 1800+ processor running at1.997MHz with just a fsb jump from 133 to 166 and a volcano 9 for cooling so far so goood. and welcome to Ninja's

need to get the old chip off before i get the new one :(

only problem i had with mt was my pally XP1800 would do 185 fsb easily, the tbred "A" XP1800 struggles to do 170fsb (and still randomly resets for no reason)

i'm keeping fingers crossed thsay i can get into the higher FSB's with thie tbred "B" chip (if it is tbred b)
