Foment might remeber giving me advice about upgrading a while back, well i still havnt got round to selling it as i havnt found anyone who wants my old one...till now. so now i can finally make my new system also im a lot richer i got some money for my birthday and i also found a site to get bits off cheap (http://www.rlsupplies.co.uk/) and for an extra £50 i can now make this spec

2600xp+
2x 256mb Twinmos DDR400
128Mb ATI Radeon 9500 Sapphire
Logitech Z-640 Speakers
80gb W/D Hard Drive

What im stuck with is the mainboard, i have to choices

Epox 8RDA+ or Asus A7N8X nForce2 Deluxe

They are both the same price, what ones better. The Asus has audio storm so i would have thought it would be that one. What do you guys think?

Just shows what differnce £50 and a few weeks make to what you can buy.

Is a good list for £550 and what mainboard is better?

Thanks for your help

Are you planning to overclock any? If so a 2500+ may be a better option for you.

My vote goes for Asus as well, but you may also want to check out the Abit NF7-S if you're overclocking.

Im Not very interested in overclocking i just want a good pc that runs at stock. Not Overclocked, i might eventually over clock. But i just want to have a good gaming pc with excellent sound and graphics and for it to be fast and future proof

I think the 2500+ would be a better option because it cost less and the cache helps out.

The Asus definitely if this isn't a made-for-overclocking rig :)
