So far, I'm good to go. I may be bringing a buddy. I think Wes and I will be car pooling.

I'll be gettin a room at the near by Radison for Fri and Sat night. I'll drive in Firday and arrive late. Have all day/night on Sat, And drive back on Sun.

BTW, I need to coordinate the hardware I'll be bringing. I have some stuff to offer, but I also have a 12 hour car ride and somewhat limited space. I'll be bringing a mini van, but 3 riders plus equipment will eat up space fast, so I need to know what you guys really need.

I am obviously bringing my own gaming rig...plus kb, mouse, moniter, cable and cords, Pstrips, headphones, games, etc etc.

I can also bring a spare rig or two, but I need to know how they should be outfitted, or if they are needed. One is a folder and another my home server. Niether have enough graphics power for serious gaming. They have plenty of memory and CPU. I have a GF3Ti500 I can slip into one of them. The server already has some games on it (as it has been in the LAN server role before).

I can also bring R5 cables, my Linky Router, and Link 4 port Hub, and KVM.

I'd be happy to bring any of this stuff (as long as i can fit it).

Well you should at least bring enough for your PC and anyone your bringing. I dont think we'll need any more spare PCs. Definitely bring any long nic cables you have.

I think we'll need a big old hub as well. I dont have access to one currently. Anyone else?

Ill bring a 4 port switch if i have too.

here's my hardware list.:

My main rig, PVR for server duties
4 Pt Router, 5pt switch, 4pt hub, 6pt hub, spool of cat5 and rj-45 ends, KVM (maybe), monitor, 2-3 keyboards, 2 trackballs (I can't stand mice), Powerstrip, extention cord, speakers and all the cables this time :), Games, blank media, digital camera, and the kitchen sink.

And whetever else I forget ;)

im bringing hal9000, dual server and laptop. dual server make good game server. vid card for shit though, only server mode.

Bring the switch, Clean the couch :D and the dual can do well as another game server.

You an I are the closest so it's not a drive to go get stuff if we need. Get in touch and we'll see exactly what we're bringing. You might be getting snack duties. :cool3:

P.S. I really want to say you're not going to be let in unless you have the water box up and running. I gave it to you in perfect working order, just add motherboard and assorted bits. I'd like to but I said I would have 2 watercooled systems there (it is the liquid ninjas LAN :D ) but that just may not happen.

Al, yes i had plenty of notice but by better half just gave me the ok to spend 350.00 on hdd's and psu. not easy to live hand to mouth! and i just swindled my boss out of a new FA-311 nic. lan parties work better with a network card.

I hope Rob is still going. My wife wants to go again now after trouncing Farabomb a few times last night *snicker*. Although, Im sure it was luck because Alex was giving ME a run for my money last night. OMG...am i getting that bad? I think he learned how to dodge cause I couldnt touch him with the rockets. Its nice to have some competition. Might have to start chasing after my own damn wife if im not careful :(

Snack duty is dooable. I vote for bbq, do we have grill access? Fara, let me know what you guys are brining and what i should bring. I can do pop and chips, maybe some meat products for grillin. Or pizza money. Hell, i dont care. Figgure we'll need to do lunch and dinner though. Oh, maybe we'll make a big thing of mac salad or something.

A grill proper, no. We do have 2 stoves and a fridge. I'll take care of meat and maybe salad. Acually, just get in touch with me and we can orginaize. I'm still trying to get the keys for the place. Nothing like playing phone tag with 2 days left. :D

As far as cooking implments goes, tell me what you need and I"ll bring it if I have it. I still don't have a handle on how many are coming so I'll just plan for more, if less show we get fatter. ;)

Last night may have been a fluke. Yea, I did get the hang of dodging but that alone ain't gonna save me. For some reason when me and abi meet up we just sit there and shoot each other. Sometimes it comes down to who has more health left. And sometimes it comes down to her just smoking me. :D

paper plates and some fork things
abi's homemade cookies

I dont own a cooler so bringing meat probably wont be easy for me. I can bring buns or something else if you let me know like soon.

Yea it's lot eaiser for me to get the perishables. I'm thinking a couple London broils and some dogs and hamburgers I'll steal from the freezer. I'll make bruchetta and a salad. That and the mac salad should fill the appy portion up. :)

Hey 4.6,

If you want to pitch in, just shoot some money Fara's way...he's done most of the work, and the hall was a big expense.

If your not staying very long, I wouldnt worry too much about it though, since it wouldnt be very fair :)
