Well that should get some attention. I might be moving here in the next few months (Broad Band Maybe:D ), I need to thin out my junk. Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone can find a use for any of this, but here it is.


Preference given to regular contributors, and active Seti/f@h members, No guarantees on anything, most of it was at least fired up recently, but not all. the only thing I'm 100% unsure of is the HD's. I'll give it until Monday then I'll offer to whomever. Even though most of it is pretty old I'm hoping it might be usefull to someone....

Hi Ruanatic, I've been looking for some spare parts to build some LN.com servers. If you would like to donate that to a good cause, that would be great :)

I'll glady take the BH6s and the Celerons, the Duron for sure. The Dell (ill see if i can get it working), the cd-drives (i always need these, even old ones), and any floppy drives.

Ill be glad to count this as a donation to LN.com and give you access to the new gallery, the ftp site, etc. Some case badges, just let me know. But i think i can put some of this to good use as back up DNS or Email servers, etc. Offload some of the work main server.

Oh, any cases or PSUs would be great too. I can even pay shipping if you want. Let me know :)

This thread might be a good time to make mention that maybe we could all pool spair Hardware and throw together some dedicated folders to add to our teams folding power. This is not a new idea, some other teams have been doing it for quite sometime. Might work for us as well as it has worked for others.

I've got a mostly complete P3 550 I would donate to such a project, along with anything in the above list, and possibly some more modern hardware if anyone needs specific parts...

Hi Ruanatic, I'll be happy to take anything that works, and is 500mhz and up. I have a whole ton of old P5ish stuff, so I dont really need that. I'll PM you my home address and you can ship whatever.

The P3 550 would be a valuable addition to the list above, being nearly complete. Ill certainly crunch for the team with what I can. Ill probably turn one of these boxes in to a game server, another in to a backup DNS server, and another in to an SQL server.

So, if I can bring 3 more machines online that would be great. Mobos, ram, hds, old video cards (even PCI) what ever, this stuff doesn't have to be top notch for servers.

Glad they made it ok, I included that 266, forgot i had that one, if i remember right it OC'd pretty decent. Both of them were running not to long ago, ghopefully UPS was gentle with them :)
