what motherboard ????

What motherboard will take the 3200+barton and ocz 3500 twin 1gb with out a problem, the asus boards i have all ready one being a rev1.4 and the other rev2.0 will not take the ram ,i have updated the bios to the latest ones and no joy, looked on the ocz web site and they say it will but it says a7n8x not a7n8x deluxe, is there a big diffrence in these two boards then?? please help me i am starting to lose it :cry: :cry: :cry:

well i just read my abit instruction manual, it says it supports up to two gig of pc3200 running dual-channel - non-ecc, unbuffered.

I don't understand why the asus is having a problem... are you adding the memory on an exisiting windows installation, or are you trying to install? I am assuming you are using winXP.

HI Drake . no even done memtest 86 and it was 156 errors :rolleyes: so we ended that and sending the ram back, lol better luck next batch they send.:shocked: :shocked:

Then maybe the chipset drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=nforce_udp_winxp_2.41) will help.
