Cancel your order and tell then tuff shit. I'm sure there are better online stores that can offer you what you want at a fraction of that cost.

just call up your credit card company and tell them that there was a problem with your online order and that the online retailer refuses to correct the mistake.
hopefully the credit card company will absorb the cost of the transaction itself, and you will just get the WB for free.
although i don't know if all credit card companies do this, many of the ones i use have a special product assurance for online shopping problems.
i've been able to get away with a few of these claims hehe.

sadly i used mt debit.
:(
this really makes me mad.
You would think ordering directly for them would have less problems.

yeah their online shopping cart thing is definitely shoddy, they give you all these shipping options and its not that navigable. i am guessing you placed the order with extremely fast shipping.

What would you consider a realistic cost on shipping, If I were you I would find out what it should have really cost you to ship the package, then armed with that and a copy of your on-line invoice I would plaster it on every forum, reseller ratings, etc. You may not be able to recover your $$ but at least you can keep someone else from getting ripped off..... That attitide they took with you is enough on its own to make me steer clear.
I would also make sure I emailed them links to all my posts. Including this one.

they definitely aren't a very good retailer. i ordered 3/8" tubing from them and they sent me 1/2". when i told them about the mistake, they did not seem surprised. i was expecting that they would just send me the 3/8" tubing, but they wanted me to send the 1/2" tubing back to them...blah blah blah...and to make long story short, it was just a lot of aggravation and wasted time.
i ordered from them twice, and i never got ripped off on shipping though thank god.
they are always posting on their website how busy they are producing WBs, so if thats true...then they should really spend their time and effort making WBs and not running their own store which they are shabbily doing.

DangerDen has always been a pretty good retailer. Their shopping cart is shoddy yeah, but I've never had a problem with them.
$60 shipping is a bit insane. I find it hard to beleive that they told you 'tough luck' though. Can you post a copy of that email here?

Hi darksaint,
I am going to move this thread to the Resellers Ratings Forum for better exposure.
I have bought from them many times, and have had no problems.
What shipping did you use, overnight?
Take care.

I too have ordered from DD many times and have always had a good experience...but I do agree the shopping cart could definately be improved.
If you want PM me with the detail and such and I will contact Jeremy directly and see if I can help out.

Well, if they fixed the problem...are you more satisfied with the results?
I usually find that even the best places make mistakes, but its how they resolve them that counts.

Hi Darksaint,
If they charged you 60 dollars for shipping, then refunded 50 dollars, that makes the shipping at 10 dollars.
Still a tad high for normal shipping, but not out of line.
As Tom says, stuff happens.
Many of us have dellt with dan and Jerimy for quite a while, and have never had an issue that was not resolved, to say the least.
Take care, and glad it is sorted out...........
PS........I went to their place of operation, and met and talked with the owners and staff, and they are really willing to keep everybody happy and stocked with parts. With that said, we will certainly keep an eye on them for future dealings.
I wrote them a letter for Tech ED class, and they sent me a nice letter AND a FREE Maze 3 along with it. I also sent one to Swiftech, and they didn't even bother to do a one sentence reply. :(

They sent me an email saying sorry for the problem.
In the end it was a problem with the check out form.

They are really a good bunch of people and have never faltered on my orders. I would of bought from a local retailer but no one carries Danger Den products with 1/4" inlets ( to keep consistent with the exos system) and I didn't want to use adapters.
I just got another order on Friday for my NB water-block, some small heatsinks and a they also had a few nifty clear fans with the LED's on clearance.
Good people.:)
