When I pried the heatspreaders off my Corsair PC3000 and found Samsung ram hehe :)
And not only that, but the entire 256m dimm contains only 8 ram chips!

The chips are Samsung K4H560838C-TCB3. Rated 333mhz.
Anyway, finished installing the ram waterblocks on the ram sticks, and installed it on the KX7. Works good, however i have to use dimm #1 and #4 to make everything fit. This doesnt seem to have any adverse affect on overclockability.
I dont have chilled water going through the ram yet, ill hook that up tommarow night I think. WIll have some pictures soon too.
They look great, for sure :)

So in essence the Corsair is just hand picked Samsung...interesting. Given that Samsung had the DDR333 process ironed out first (better yields than most), I guess I'm not shocked to learn this.

I have been using the original Samsung since it first went on saleand I cannot complain and at almost half the price of Corsair I am happy. And considering I can get almost the FSB you guys are getting speaks alot for the Quality of the Original Samsung.
