Either that, or getting the rest of my home LAN involved.
I have to get over the mental hurdle of letting my H20 rig run 24/7 unattended, and get my Multimedia rig a tad bit quieter for 24/7 operation. Right now only the server/seti rig runs 24/7.
That needs to change I guess:)
go on, get them all going, you know it makes sense :)
toodles :xsofa:

Hi Mike,
I run my H2O 24/7 with no problem.
You have an ABIT mobo don't you?
If so, you can go into BIOS and engage thermal shutdown function.
At least, if it gets hotter than you like, it will auto-shutdown, with no damage.
Unless you are worried about a water leak, you will be OK.
Take care.............

Hey Guys:
Thanks for the encouragement:D
Right now I run all my stuff with Auto shutdown in the BIOS (at least on the three Abit mobos). And for extra security, I run ShutdownNow! in conjunction with MBM. So if temps, voltages, or fans run out of spec for too long, any of the machines will shutdown automatically and email me at work advising me of the condition.
...pretty anal huh?
Anyway, the Commander and Chief (the wife) doesn't mind the SETI/Server or the Gamer...they are both pretty quiet. Need to quiet the other two though.
As far as the H20 Gamer...it's a leak issue I guess. Like I said, I just need to "get over it".:)
