View new posts

Was wondering if we could have a "view new posts" option when we login to save trawling through the forums to find them :)

View New Posts has to be the most useful tool of forums like these :) Glad it's getting some attention

While were on the subject... anyone ever have any problems with it?? Occasionally it returns no results... when i've been away from the boards long enough that I know there are some. Anyhoot, just a small quirk I have :)

Yeah, I get the same thing too sometimes.

I have to search for the posts... manually! *shudders*

if im not mistaken, the results are broken up into like 3 hour blocks of activity, however if you dont logon, the "view todays active threads" shows all posts from a 24 hour block.
at least that is what i've noticed, merely an observation lightly based on fact.

I know thre is a button that will "mark all threads as read"
so maybe thats it

No doubt! Without this and email notification I'd never have the time to track threads and participate in the forums.
