looks like either the psu is dropping volts or as in my case the leads are too long from the invertor to the tube, I shortened the leads and it worked fine
how long are your leads?

the wires from the light? or the wires from the inverter? the light one is like 12-16in and the inverter to the power supplie is like 12in. When i first installed it it went up and down, and then it was like full blast and brighter than snot(don't know how snot is bright but the light was) and then it went down to were you see. It moves up and down about and inch without getting brighter if i wiggle the wires around the inverter.

Hello All, I have 4 CCFL lites I bought from Heatsinkfactory 2- Blue and 2 - UV Black lites and the wires to the invertor are only about 7" long.
