Do you guys think that their are to many Antecs/Cheiftecs?

I personally love the cases, they scream mod me mod me. Just woundering. On twisted mods they had this forum check it out and give me what you think cuz you guys are like the gental giants of case modding. your so supportive of everything we do... I Love you man!

Sorry emotional moment...

antec/cheiftec is it played out? (http://twistedforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1455&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0)

You can do some great things with Cheiftech cases. I saw a guy who replaced the bottom grill with aluminum pipes and then took off the front door and put pipes there too.

Yes, everyone and their mamma has one, but does everyone and their mamma use the exact same mods everytime? I think they are a great product.

i used to hvae an antec case, i loved it...but it was really heavy and not as snazzy lookin as my lian li pc 62. anyways i got a refurb from newegg for 80 bux or something...which was too sweet a deal that i could not pass up.

i prefer to think of antec/chieftech cases as the honda civics of pc cases.

yeah everyone and their mother has one...but you know what....they have a lot of modding opportunities and since everyone has one...its that much of a challenge to mod it and make it look different.

and like the civics: they are aggressively priced, perform well, have enough space for what most people need to do, are durable and just plain kick ass.

anyways as long as it does what it does for you, keep rockin it!:)

You should check out the aluminum versions of the Matrix and Dragon cases. My case weighs less than my cat

I would drake, but i just got my lian li case fairly recently so no new cases for a while.

Anyways I think the next time I need a case, I will just build one out of acrylic or carbon fiber.

Thanx, i just got my case yesterday. it is a black chieftec, full tower and i got some really cool ideas. And a carbon fiber case would be awsome! really light yet really strong. Can't wait to see something like that.

Hello All, Yup those are some sweet cases all right. I'm real happy with my new black mid-tower Chenming case from newegg. Its one of those cheapy aluminum jobs with the plastic front bezel, makes it real easy to mod. From what I understand these were suppose to be Antec LANBOYS but Chenming had a fallout with Antec and now Cheiftec makes them. Its very light, has drive rails, removable HDD rack, decent fit and finish, I believe they're selling for $30.00 + Shipping, not bad for a 95% aluminum case I thought.
