Getting Ready for the Lan Party

Finally bought MOHAA yesterday, as well as it's expansion pack and the expansion pack for BF1942 as well, I'm sure we'll be playing those at the lan party in June eh?

So many games to practice...so little time. We should plan our games ahead of time. What should we play? Here's my list so far, maybe we should vote:

Quake3
Jedi Outcast
Unreal 2003
MOHAA
SOF2
BF1942
Wolfenstein

Any expansion packs?

Not bad, out of 7 games I'd only have to buy 3. :D

Hardware wise I'll have the PVR there for server duties. KX7-333R, 1800+A @ 1.7g, 512 2100, WD40g, WD120g, and a 8500DV. Should be able to handle it and can also be used to play on if someone's box goes bad.

Networking wise I'll have a router w/ a 4 port switch, a 5 pt switch, and a 4 and 6 pt hub. Bring LAN cables for hookup. I'll have a spool of cat5 and some ends if needed but try and be prepared. :)

Feel free to bring any backups :D

I'll either bring Holy or the laptop again. Depends on how much I can fit in to my car. I don't think I'll have the new gaming rig before the party. I can bring my wireless setup if anyone else has wireless adapters hehe.

damn Im going to have to buy five games for the lan party then...i guess I can wait til may or june to buy those....Im guessing those games will be a lot cheaper by then

funny thing is I actually got MOHAA..a legitimate copy from an EA games and Alienware giveaway...but then sold it for twenty five bux hehee
