Sounds like I do a lot of apologizing lately about site problems. The site was taken down today by F5 hosting because of some script hangup that was causing an 85% load on the server. I have NO idea what caused these problems, but phpNuke seemed to be the most suspect culprit, as other people on F5 have been having problems with this.

So, in order to bring the site back up, I had to remove the PhpNuke portion of the site. The BBS and Gallery still remain, but the reviews/articles section is currently gone. I made a backup of everything after F5 brought our site backup.

So since F5 and phpNuke dont get along, I will have to look in to another solution. Its going to take me a few days. I beleive I will beable to restore the reviews/articles we had in to the new system, but time will tell.

Anyway, I apologize again for the downtime.

I will also be working on the BBS itself coming up. There have been some bugs between vBulletin and the new PHP backend. I am reading up on these problems and will begin applying some patches which should correct some of the SQL/Cookie probems people have been having.

Thanks for your patience, we are trying very hard to make things work better for everyone :)

Ive applied some fixes which should help vB problems weve been having with SQL disconnects and emailing. Let me know if there are still problems. I will apply the fixes as vBulletin releases them.

Lost a few of the vB hacks, like glowy mods, last thread, and how many threads since last visit.

But, other things are working better now.

Well I try. I feel bad when things dont work, especially on our new site. I dont want the first impression we give to people to be that we have a shitty site with connection problems ;)

I am honestly considering hosting LN on my private T1 line. The cost is a bit more, and I need a server. But the advantage is I wont be prone to problems with a 3rd party host, I can have 100x the bandwidth and disk space.

But, there are disadvantages to this as well...finding a box to install the servers on, installing dns, email servers, ftp, web, etc. Configuring everything. I dont have much left in the LN budget. Maybe for next year.

Eh no problem, I like doing it.

I just wish I could focus my time on moving the site forward, rather than rebuilding what ive already done ;)

Or maybe not. I just checked it I might be wrong. Weird things have been happening. I'm chalking them up to you knocking around in the background.
