Counterstrike

Hey all.

Just wanted to pop in to tell you all that Team Picard has a Counterstrike Server.

We usually play on wednesdays at 20BST, 21CET (yes, thats today too ;) )

Server adress is:

What you need is Counterstrike 1.5

2 ways:

a) Install HL, patch HL, install CS 1.5

b) Install CS Retail, patch CS to 1.5

Case a) is 100% compatible.

Case b) has problems on a few maps which are not identical to the MOD version maps..you need to update the retail version with a map pack thats very hard to get hold of.

So I recommend buying Halflife (cheap, old..around 5-10£) then patch halflife to 1.1.1.0 , then install CS-mod 1.5

The patches can be downloaded anonymously at many sites around the globe.

www.counter-strike.net is a good point to start.

For a) only these 2 files are needed:
HL patch: hl1110.exe
CS-mod 1.5: csv15full.exe

For b) you need:
CS-retail 1.5 patch: cs1005.exe
