I just saw the True480 power supply with blue LED internal illumination and i like.
but i prefure the 550W Enermax.
my question is seeing as i was gonna change the stock Enermax cover with a plastic see thu. is there any way to connect a led fan into the power unit or is the true special?

It may not be the same connection (3pin) but if you can get it wired it'll work fine.

Seeing as your fans get power from the PSU, this shouldn't be a problem
Wiring would be the hard part. As Fara said, I doubt it's a standard connector. If you have rudimentary soldering skills and aren't afraid to work around high voltages, go right on. However, opening a power supply can be fatal (or at least lead to very painful injuries) so be extremely careful if you decide to wire in a new fan.

Good idea... don't cut off the old fan at the PSU board, but at the fan. Just put a moxel/3pin on there and make your coice of fan :)
