Hi there folks,

I am from the Netherlands and just discovered the site of liquid ninjas, have to say great site!!!!!!!!

I've just bought a new computer:

Components
MSI KT4V
Athlon XP 2700
512 MB DDR PC2700
Ati Radeon 9700 Pro
Creative Audigy 2
40 GB HD 7200 rpm.

I've a Thermal take Volcano 9 installed, but damn that thing makes a noise, and still got a CPU temp of 58 degrees C, so go watercooling is the answer.
I am new to this subject so i bougth a complete set by a local computer shop by their advise, it's a coolriver set.
Installed it yesterday but the set has a poor cooling performance, over the 60 degrees C, so tommorow i am going to bring it back, here in the Netherlands watercooling isn't yet a hot item for the pc. The only other system the shop got is the Thermal take Aquarius, is this a good set ?

I've read that the pump only pumps 92 g/h and you guys are speaking about 160 and above.
Should i buy this set or should i custom build one? and if i custom build can i use a pond pump??

I hope someone can answer before tommorow morning, euh.... for you guys the evening :)

Greetings Erik

PS Keep that good site going ;)

If you wan't to actually cool better than air, stay away from Aquarius, Iceberg, and similar kits. Swiftech, Danger Den, and Innovatek are much better solutions.

dead on the nail's head drake!, i must agree with drake. the aqurious and iceberg suck, if you want great solutions go with swiftech or danger den if you don't mind doing a little extra work on you case, or you can go with innovatek if you want a simpler yet effective solution.

Drake and ralf_c have said it all
but if you are looking for a complete kit swiftech has got every thing together in nice complet packages, tho danger den seems to have better components and its kits are ok, visually i think danger den wins hands down. and i like their coustomer help.

Thanks for the replies guys, i now know that i am not going to trade that coolriver for the aquarius set.
I am going to look at danger den for the distributor in holland or order a swiftech/danger den via the internet.

if you want to go homemade, then you'll want to look at a MCW-426UH, BIX or heatercore, and MCP-300 or hydor l30. a t to fill it would be fine. if you don't the swiftech QP is an excelent kit, although it doesn't have excelent performance. it does kick an slk-900 w/tornado's azz tho.

I think KMS over at PCLincs (http://www.pclincs.co.uk/) can get you the parts you need from DD or Swiftec.
