i just installed my wc system.. has a maze3, eheim pump, bix rad... its all installed and it isn't cooling it much.. my temp creeps up to 70 degrees and just seems to keep getting hotter as the computer is on longer..

whats wrong?

hello scott

i hope that 70f you are talking about, if celcious then you have a problem. wich eehim pump do you have, did you check to see if you got air pockets in the rad.

ok.. i fixed the temp.. and yes it was at 70c.. the reason was is because when i was running it without the computer hooked up to it i was running it with the radiator off and the pump i think heated the water up on it... so then when i hooked it up to my computer the water was already like 60c.. but then i left for an hour and came back and now its 33c idle..

but now i have another problem.. it will only let me run my chip with the default bios stuff.. and its a amdxp 2000 .. running at 1250 mhz.. when i turn it up my comp doesn't boot up.. but when i run with default bios it works.. but then when i shut it down.. i have to clear the bios to boot it back up...

any suggestions on whats wrong.. watercooling is running fine now though..

hmmmmmmmmm!, i'm stomped, i can't think of a reason why your sys shouldn't run, check your bios health monitor and look at the temps that you are getting. if they are good then i don't think it has to do with the water cooling system but i could be wrong

by the way, did you get the airtrap to work on your system?

no ralf i didn't use the air trap.. read email...

about my system.. the watercooling is running perfect now.. 32c idle.. i can't get mbm5 to work for some reason so i just have to restart and look at temps in bios..

im still trying to fix my actual computer now though.. ill post in a few minutes more info about whats wrong..

it be p....what are your system specs? It's too hard to come up with any ideas without knowing that:)

i tested my cpu in my bros comp and it didn't work.. so i bought a amd xp 2400+ and while i was at it i bout a nf2-s mobo..

btw.. i never ran the system while hooked up to my computer without the rad.. i just didn't have the ran turned on the rad when i was making sure there was no leaks and getting bubbles out and so on...

good luck with your new hardware. did you determine what caused you cpu'd death

i don't think that the wb was squarly on the cpu.. i think one side was tilted up off of it so it wasn't making good contact... but not possitive about this..
