I was just reading about a new fan technology
by Sunon called MLS or Magnetic Levitation System

The fundamental principle behind the MLS technology, is magnetic force.
In operation the fan´s impeller being totally and evenly attracted
within a 360 degree magnetic field, will rotate while ´floating´ and
remain in perfect balance. This enables the impeller to stay in a
constant position with its shaft rotating at a fixed point, no
matter what the orientation or mounting position, thus eliminating
any vibration or friction within the bearings at the mounting points.

This means that fans will run quieter and last longer

Err, sounds a bit like YSTech Tip Magnetic Drive fans, like the kind that are on Vantec AeroFlows.

thats next on the list to do.

unfortunatly i can afford a pukke new kit, so at some point when i sell my car i will be scouting around for second hand bits to put one together
