Try here (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?description=13-127-141).
I would advise against a 3GHz p4, though. Price/performance isn't worth it.

your killing me!!!
augggg.
but really 167 is not bad for the board.
but ya i can see that 641 for cpu makes it about the most expensive item on my list.
to wait or not to wait.
I think i smell silicon melting :>

Just don't buy it. The bleeding edge of hardware isn't worth it, at least not making everything top-of-the-line in your system. Shelling out an extra grand or more for something that will be outdated within a month or so isn't the best of ideas.
I would do a little research on what gives you the best overclock for your dollar. That's usually the best buy.
Oh, and check this out (http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.html?i=1784). Seems E7205 has some competition. Yeah, the board is a shade above $200, but it beats the performance of the E7205 boards that cost upwards of $250.

ok you got me thinking now.
ouch it hurts!!!
must think logically and practically.
the pain, the pain.
ok seriously now ill bump down to a 2.66
and save 300 smakers!!!
hell give it 6 more months and ill probably be able to buy it for 200$$
good advice thanks!!
had tunnel vision there.
im thinking of going with Asus A7V8X or a Gigabyte GA-8INXP what you guys think?
i can use the extra cash and get me another 512 ram sweet 1gig

Wise advice from Drake indeed.
Unless you have money to burn, buying bleeding edge is not the best choice. Usually a notch or two below that is best. Look for the best "price point"....the spot where the price drops significantly but the performance drops only a little. As you've already indicated, the 2.66 is where that point is now.

Hey guys,
I'll agree, buying the leading edge stuff is not always good. But buying quality stuff is good. :)
The only way I would reccomend buying leading edge is if you plan on having the same computer for more than a year. The guys I work with still have theirP3 1ghz machines with 512Mb of ram and a GF2-3 video card that they think is bad ass. Well at least untill I brung in my machine :D
Superman,
You have my opinions.

yup i 2nd what drake said. i waz gon get the gigabyte 8inxp (granite board). than drake linked me to the sis655 chipset. and that thing outperforms the granite bay. and hella lot cheaper. so that is my board. and i'll b gettin' the 2.4ghz 533mhz c1 stepping. and OC that m0f0.
but it maxes out @ 165mhz FSB (2.97ghz (660mhz FSB) if u gon use a 2.4ghz wit 533mhz fsb). usin' a 2.6ghz p4 wich is wat anandtech.com used. i dont know if thats the boards max stability or the cpu max. but imma take my chances. imma go as clos to 3ghz as i can.
if i were u
i'd wait for the price drop on p4s wich is on 23rd of feb
9 more days

another thing. i dont recall wat cpu was used to test the abit it7max2 v2 but all i know is that it tooped at @ 220mhz fsb wich is excellent y? becuz it means that it can unoffically support the new prescott p4s the ones wit 800mhz fsb. but not like imma buy that so no point. i want the fastest encoding board and the msi 655 max wit sis655 chipset is beast. i've set my mind on the chipset. if the board is under 200 great i can maby get a faster p4 if not than imma get the 2.4ghz p4

Abit never released the conditions in which a 800MHz FSB was reached on their 845PE board. If it's only be done once, the conditions are probably unable to be reproduced.
Good point about SiS 655 chipset, if you're looking for a 180+ MHz FSB, this may not be your best chioce. Granted, you're not going to see the bandwidth you would otherwise.
