hi,
i'm checkin' out them intel xeon processors 2ghz 533mhz fsb wit HT yes i'm goin' to darkside but i'm gon b doin' some hardcore encodin' and dvd authorin'.
i see the steppin' SL6RQ
is that a good OCer?

Almost no Xeon boards offer overclocking, and the vast majority of those who have a need to own Xeons don't know the meaning of the word overclocking.
With the lack of options on most boards, you should ask if they are good OCer, not the CPU.

Well put. There is one shining ray of light for xeons... they are not locked. And your adjustments come freely. you can usually go down about 300-400mhz with multiplier adjustments that ive seen in supermicro boards. never tried a xeon other than the boards rated max tho so i dont know if this would allow you to over clock or not.
but i know that if you were leet, LOL, you would write your own bios. with all multipliers available
