Hi All,

Here is a little trick that I learned and use that I thought I might share with you.

If you have an IDE or SCSI hard drive that will not spin-up, place it in a container (tupperware, etc) and place it in the freezer for 15 hours or so.

Then attach it to your system and you will be able to retiieve any data on it.

Then, when the data is retrieved, throw the drive away.

Don't ask me why or how, but it does work.

Try it, or not...It's you data.

Take care...

kewl (quite literally!!!)

i know that with old car stereos you could freeze them and it would blank the code, so i am figureing that this process might be doing something similar???
