Nice review there M8! Those are some serious benchmarks you're getting on that mobo.
I'll tell ya, I'm convinced the KX7 is the fastest mobo on the market right now, and is amazingly stable too.
Good work on the review, and I hope to continue seeing you hanging out from time to time here on our LN forums:)

we could see a big moveback to amd in the enthusiastdepartment if they manage to get some decent working tbreds on the market.
imagine it teamed up with this mobo, some hiquality ram and a 2500+(2 ghz) running @ 2.3 gig... should make almost any p4 crumble...

No doubt M8!. I wish AMD would get those TBreds out the door. If they continue to be too preoccupied with the Hammer, they will lose a very loyal core group of enthusiasts to Intel.
Heck, even I have given Intel a passing thought recently.
What bugs me is that I know the silicon is ready. But AMD wants to keep the hype focussed on the Hammer. Probably a good strategy for the overall OEM market, but it doesn't do much for the DIY and overclocking crowd:(
Hopefully we will see some TBreds very soon now.

I was a bit less faithful then you are...
my benching-gamingrig now use a 1.6@2.85 on air with 1.78V stressed... on an abit th7-II with samsung rimms....knowing that with the prometheia unit I'm getting next week, it'll go well over 2 gig...
It felt like a good old amd... it was cheap, hefty, overclockable to the max...
But deep in my heart I still hope the big Intel gets bitchslapped by AMD... so I can go back to my first true love :)
