Just to be cautious, can I spray my motherboard with liquid conformal coating and not worry about a thing? If not, what could I use to "waterproof" my motherboard?

Caution :D

Waterproofing is rather frivolous. If you do it right, the opportunity for water to muss your mobo should never arise.

1cooldude,
As i've read many reviews and tutorials, its a lil harder than just spraying it w/some stuff ;) If you read mdzcpa's TEC cooling upgrade review/article, it should give aqudte information to waterproof your motherboard. I am following his steps to the tee. Only because I trust Mike and know him personally. I did read another good article if I can find it I will post a link for you.

Er... Do you mean waterproofing or condensation proofing, cooldude?

Well heres a good one, it's actully from swiftec. For a socket 370, but all socket apps work the same.

I didn't mean condensation, just general waterproofing, just in case something went wrong.

If your system is installed correctly there is no need for waterproofing. It is very rare to have a system spring a leak. I did take the time to Condensation proof the mobo because I am setting up a chiller in the near future.

Yes, the only time you need to proof anything is when working with sub-ambient temps.
