I heard that the dtek heater cores are better. Anybidy know if this is true?

Hi Dude,
BIX is the best cooling unit available at the moment, period.
Take care........

Im still looking for my rad... I was thinking of some Bike Rads... there pretty good in size... I'm still gonna ask my auto teacher for more info.. ill let your guys nkow... I want a rad thge size of the side pannel of my comp. :D Bigger means better... lol i guess it will perform better then a small heat core... i just wonder is one 370GHP pump gonna do a huge rad, maze 2, z chipset, and vid card... if not add another 370 with that one...

OF ITS SIZE obviously anything larger will outperform, but i guess this thread was just about 120s and the bix isn't a heatercore just a rad but yes it is the best perfroming 120.

to the point at which your pump can still pump fast. a .000001 degree diffeence inm temps usually isn't worth 10GPH yes, a 3x 120 will do better than a bix, but not three times as well

what are you confused about brinky

Radiators cool the water. Water can not be cooler than the air blowing through the radiator. The larger the radiator, the closer the temps are to ambient, the more restricted the flow rate is.
So, there's a point of diminishing return with radiator size.
Conclusion: don't get a big radiator, unless you have the pumps to support it.

so what would be the max size of a radiator that i could run with a 370GHP 6'head pump? Maze2, Zblock, Reservour all using 1/2 tubing inside the case lets say 2 feet of tubing... is there an estimate?

Im thinking of doing like the Koolance case... 3 80mms on the top and ill make the houseing out of aluminum since my uncle makes aluminum sidings... or migth see if i can fit a 3*120 any tips?
thanks guys
3x 80s are the same length as 2x120, and won't cool nearly as well. 3x 120s is the king of civilized watercooling

yeah, if its like filling a whle basement and has tons of crap attached to it, and its leaking and has a rad the size of the empire state building. and uses a gas or diesel pump
