Hello All,
I need some help with suggestions on hiding my wires in my case.I have a koolance case and as you know it has all the water cooling componants located at the top of the case with a tray below. What I am trying to figure out is how to hide all those extra wires from the psu.Would it be better to just cut them and get rid of the or do you think that would be a bad idea.I have a side window and would like to have it looking as neat as possable.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There are a few ways you can clean your case up. You can get some split loom from the auto store and cover your wires with that. You can hide some of the wires under the motherboard. I've also seen some really good work with mesh sheathing and some heatshrink tubing. It looks wonderful but it takes a bit of time to do because you have to take apart the molex connectors.

Take a look over @ Voodoo computers (http://www.voodoopc.com/systems/) and see the work of art the wiring is in those computers.

Hi Forgiven_1,

I can't tell from the pic what kind of wires you have.
I see the tubing.

If you are using flat ribbon cable for the floppy and H/Ds, then try the round colored cables that are available in most computer stores anywhere.

They really clean up a case, and make it very neat.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to hide all the wires, but you can make those that show look nice.

Take care........

from what i can tell you are willing to cut some cables here???
ya i went thru this disision when i was thinking of what to do with my system.
this is a bit a work and you will need some extra parts. i would suggest going with mesh sheathing and some heatshrink tubing it is the way to go if you want the best look posible. you can find the stuff here (http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/scan/se=Electronics/se=Heat%20Shrink%20Tubing/mp=menu_search.html)
but like farabomb said you do have to take apart the molex connectors or just go and buy new ones that redy to go at radio shack.

Run what you don't use behind the mobo tray. If a cable you need is streached across the mobo, lengthen it and run it behind the mobo. Rounded IDE/floppy cables are nice, but I find home-rounding them is easier, because you can controll the thickness. If you'd rather not round them, taking the time to properly fold them also helps appearances.

id have to agree with drake.
try folding and hiding first!
it takes less time than mesh sheathing.
and it really costs nothing!! just alittle time and pactience.
if you dont like the way your home rounding come out you can still use mesh or buy rounded cables as a last resort.

I have the same case and had the same problem, I just laid it all under the rad at the top.
