Exos external

Danger Den Radeon water cooler.

Got temps hitting 39C when I up my vcore to 1.75 ( as noted in bios ).

When set to default of 1.65V it's nice and cool at 30C.

I also had this crazy notion of running a hose from the exos into my mini- fridge:D

hello dere,

depended upon the load of ur system havin' multiple rads will make a difference. for ex. havin' a pelt on ur gpu and cpu. one rad could cool the water comin' from gpu n nother from cpu. if there isnt much load than i doubt u'd see ne difference.

i for one have 2 rads. 1) blackice extreme and 1) blackice pro EVO radiator. originally i had planned on a gpu waterblock but later found that my gpu dont even got the mountin' holes for it. so i got 2 rads runnin'. my water temp is pretty cold. alot colder than room temp. room temp is like 80s water temp is actually in 70s well feels like it. prob due to da fact that my resevoir (dangerden resevoir) is extremely small. and i got a ehiem 1250 so water stays in resevoir for couple seconds before goin' to the system again. i had a iceberg system b4 this and it uses a huge tank. and a low powered 150GPH pump. so water does stay in longer thus warmin' up to room temp.

so havin' a smaller resvoir would help watertemps also. hope dat answers ur question.

Thanks for the input. The exos external water system is entirely self enclosed and has it's own reservoire within it. Adding a second rad would be easy so I was thinking of ordering another from Exos....or poosibly DD in-line with the other.

A larger resivoir size will usually impact performance on a greater level than a smaller one.

the koolances have weak pumps, so i wouldn't recomend adding another rad, but if u insulate the wbs and hoses that are inside the case, the u can either put a secindary res with a evaporator from a fridge in it, or just put the whole exos ina fridge. the fridge would either have to be an older mini or a large one. new mini ones don't do much. they can't even cool soda down. i like my coke cold, too:(
