Would an antec trupower 550 be enough to power my system and 226tec and 80tec?.... I ordered my water cooling kit today all swiftech...MCW462-uht...MCW50-t..and the H20-8500A KIT... i also ordered the meanwell power suppy ...but i bought the trupower at a local reatailer after and was just wondering if it could power both so that i could save money

You can power the system AND the 226w TEC from this power supply, but not with the 80w pelt as well, no.

You can probably find a small atx powersupply that will run the 80w pelt (and maybe your system fans), for $30-$40 maybe. I wouldnt bother with the meanwell.

ah i think ill just stay with the meanwell...just so the the 226tec has its on dedicated power...man the kit cost an arm...480....i was gonna get the vapochill but i thought about it....and thats about 520 with no gpu cooling and lada on i wont be able to just change the block if i decide to switch intel

I run my 226w CPU TEC off of the Meanwell, and the system and 80w GPU TEC off of my TruePower 550. Works great:)

I'm running the Swiftech QP case which is basically Swiftech's H202B kit pre installed in a server case. To my surprise, I did not need to do much to support the TECs. I added a pair of high cfm 120mm fans to the rad and that was it:) Works better than I ever imagined it would.

9.5:D

But I run these through a rheobus to control rpm and noise. I can run max performance or max quiet depending on my needs.

wow-u changed stuuf again mdzcpa, ell, those are by NO stretch of imagination high cfm fans. they are medium power. 168-190cfm y.s. techs and foucoused flow deltas are high cfm fans. never would want one louder than 20DB, myself. also, on a gaming rig (if u have anoth productivity machine) it soesn't matter how loud they are cuz u just turn game sound effects up. another way to cool the water dwon is to put more rads inline (not a good idea for low flow syses), or to have ducts and other fan air controlling devices.
