I do some stuff over at www.icrontic.com and I was just about to write a GPU waterblock review for them... and a modding guide on how to fit a GF3 waterblock onto a GF4. But... this site is new, and I think it has the potential for many a great thing. ;) Looking for any reviewers?

Sure are!

Submit a sample of your review to player0@liquidninjas.com when you are ready, I will review the review (hah) and if I like it, I'll give you posting access in the reviews and articles section :)

Actually, converting a Gf3 block to a gf4 would actually be an article, not a review...but whatever works :)

lechumbl - What do you mean by that? You want me to send that old review to player0 or the new stuff? Sorry i'm confused.

It should be for the new stuff. Since that HSF article has already been published elsewhere, it would not be right to publish that content here.

But we are definitely looking forward to some new stuff from you when time permits it in your schedule:)

sorry for stepping in here, I just want to make sure we follow proper copyright and content etiquette. Exceptions to the general rule regarding previously posted articles would include work which has only been posted on forum threads...that stuff is acceptable for posting here at LN

Hold on mdzcpa, what is that italics in your post? And seeing as I do not have a position on icrontic as such right now, I believe it may be appropriate to post it here. But don't jump to anything yet. ;) And I look forward to future reviewing.

DexterHolland91:

My above comment refers to articles posted on forum threads. The content of those posts would be deemed to be the property of the poster, and could therefore be used anywhere.

However, your article on Icrontics was posted as a "Hardware Review". In my opinion, you were writing on behalf of Incrontics at that point.

To be honest, I'm not trying to make the point legally here. My main concern is that we do not become a site known for stealing content from other sites...that can be devastating to any new site. So it's more of an etiquette issue.

For example, I have just posted my Swiftech Quiet Power Review here at LN. I had it originally been posted on my Home Page, and then over at NM in a forum thread form. But in both of those instances, the review was never written on behalf of a website.

There is another site out there that did ask me permission to reproduce portions of my review on thier site which I OK'd. But, again, I retained rights to the material in the article.

In contrast, I have written a number of other formal hardware reviews (on HSF units and such) for other sites in which I felt I was writing in capacity as a hardware reviewer for that site. I will not be using any of that material here at LN.

I hope you see the difference here. If not PM me and we can discuss it further.:)

No, a PM won't be necessary, I understand fully where you're coming from with all of this. :)
