Greetz all,
Got the guts to take something sharp and pointy to my 2100+ and unlock it, and was extremely pleased with the maximum stable overclock of 1870MHz. But things are running a bit hot for my tastes, so I decided to back off. Bad thing, though, I can't seem to access my 10.5x multiplier.
I've redone my L1 seals, L10 seal, and nothing is seeming to work. Could my motherboard be to blame?

Hmmm...I have no personal experience with unlocking the 2100 so it's tough to guess. Usually with missing multipliers it is a bad bridge connection, but you never know.
Sorry I cannot be of more help here. What you need to find is a good thread on unlocking the 2100 specifically and see if there are any reports of missing multipliers.

Arr, I tried over at the [H] and a guy with a 1800+ t-bred had no problems, with the same mobo revision as me.
Eh, If it dies any sooner than normal I guess I'll just have to get a new proccy :D.
Running 55C idle and 57C load.

Well...it's higher than we might like, but not too bad overall. if it can run Prime95 stable for an hour or so...I bet it's gonna be fine:)

I don't suppose I'm too worried about it.
Fergot to plug my HSF in (again) and had the privilege of testing out Asus' CPU overheating protection. Watching the temp slowly climb up in fear, I was relieved to see the computer auto shut down at 75C :D:rolleyes:

On pcstats.com theres a review about unlocking the 2100 and it says the opga is different so the unlocking will be different from the other fellow xp's dont get too worried about temps i had my 2100 running at 76 for one day and nothin happened, but i had to underclock and do miracles to get my temps to 50C and its all cuz of the gay retail fan, im getting an slk-800 and smart fan 2 soon though.....:alienbird

Aye, :D:DWELCOME:D:D to the LN forums!
I know that reasonably high temps won't hurt the processor, but I would hate to see it run at 60C+ long term. Right now I'm at 1833MHz (166x11) and typically run at 55C full load.
With the retail fan I was getting 48 load. What are you normally getting?
