I've seen a few 1800+ break 1.9GHz.
Go on and give it a try ;)

Yes it is, I went to a local store and when I ask the guy if it was a
Palomino or a Tbred he had no idea so this is what I got
I'm too afraid to try the probe again

temp sensor mishap?
wat had happened?
at the mo my temps are too high to go any further, and i am flat out on the fSB as well (limited by my hard disk i think)
need to get a better cooler and then i will up the multiplier a little and see what i cabn get out of it, its having to run 1.8v at the mo, but hopefully i will see closer to 1900mhz.

hey bill,
If your looking for stability i'd run prime95 for 24hrs. If it does it without any erros then your good. Mine ran fine for days doin SETI but i threw Prime95 at her and after two hours it errored out. Just a thought.
Good Clock thou m8.

so ok im new to the OC house but whats prime 95?

Prime95 is a program that utilizes 100% of your processor to do prime tests. Comminly used to test stability. If the calculations are off then it's not stable and it stops the test. I'll see if i can find a link so you can d/l it, it's like 250K.
