1&2: I love my XMS3200cas2 and I know many others on the board that recomend XMS memory.
3: The only way is to try it :) It may not be the memory thats limiting you. Right now in my case it's my vid card.
Oh yea, :beerm8s: Welcome soccrstar :beerm8s:

Aye, :D:D WELCOME :D:D sccrstar!
XMS3500 is 34MHz that you probably won't use, but that is probably enough headroom to run 200MHz FSB and aggressive memory timings.

I just got a stick of XMS3502 and its great. Like Drake sais, even if you dont go much above 200mhz, it allows you to easily achieve aggressive ram timings.

That is exactly what I'm doing with 2 sticks of XMS3500 on my KD7-E. It runs 202mhz at CAS 2, 4 way, 2,5,2 with only 2.75v. With 2.85v I can get the 1T DRAM Command to run with stability too.
I'm sure it would go higher, but my R9700 Pro says no to anything higher FSB wise:)
Awesome memory!

k thank you all for your help and feedbak. u people like only one who answered my questions. i am very greatful.
my motherboard only supports a maximum of 200mhz FSB
as of now most i can reach is 145mhz FSB.
i dont know what causes my system to go unstable. when i go that high i idle at 49C full load at bout 54C
i dont think its the temperature thats causing it. but i did order a water cooling kit from danger den it will arrive this week. that should knock me down to least 40C idle at 145mhz fsb if not lower. and i'll see if i can go past the 145mhz FSB bottleneck.
i dont know much bout rams and ram timings and watnot. and dont know how high of a clock CL3 ram can go.
i am still questionin' on if i should cough up the money for CL2 ram.
wat are those timings that you people are talkin' about like 1T timing and all them other stuff.
if someone could explain id be very greatful.
thank you for your time n patience

What mobo and proccy are you using?
The RAM timings we are talking of can be found in the BIOS.

um i have a Gigabyte 7VAXP motherboard
athlon XP 2000+ cpu
Samsung PC3200 CL3 ram 256mb x 3 = 768megs total

Make sure you do NOT enable "top performance" in the BIOS is you are trying to overclock. It enables some pretty aggressive memory timings and will overclock poorly. The setting does work great for non overclocked systems....if the memory can handle it.
