Well...that didn't take long:) We are obviously still blowing by teams with less firepower...but it's great none the less.
Things will get tougher (and even more fun) as we approach breaking into the top 100 teams, so hang tough.
To anyone following the Folding threads and considering joining, we need your help! To compete in the top 100 teams is gonna take plenty of juice. It doesn't matter if you can offer .1 or 100 units a day, our team can use anything you might be able to lend.
Congats all on breaking into the Top 250:D

Oh...and btw, looking ahead I see a few teams with some significant weekly production that we can overtake in a few days/weeks. Of particular interest is Team Club Overclocker. They are in 218th place with 6333 points producing 1100 points a week. We are in 239th place with 5761 points producing about 2200 points week.
Let's get em!

Let's rally our idle processors :p. I've added one more to our growing team, and I've two sitting doing nothing thanks to some mobo/video problems.

I'm folding full steam with the 4 boxes at home. My work box is still crunching SETI though.

Hmm. If you have the mobo for it, I'd say get a 2400+ and overclock it. Many have reported 2.2GHz on air, and some as far as 2.4GHz. That's a hefty step up from its default 2GHz :D.

I feel so small LOL Here's you guys using multiple systems to fold and all I have is one system :(

Don't feel bad, I am only folding on one machine too.

Folding with one machine is great guys:) In fact, I'm not sure how long I can keep multiple machines running myself. Between the electric bill and my family's desire for a "quiet" house, there is always some pressure to reduce the fleet 24/7 running time.
And remember, the great distributed computing teams are driven mostly by many single machine members:)

You know, there is a way to make it quite... Watercool :D

Yeah...I've been considering that. My main gaming rig which is the most powerful system here is the most quiet...water cooling and pelts do wonders for that:)
It's my other rigs that are somewhat noisy. I have low rpm fans on all of them, and any idividual system is pretty quiet. But all of them on at once in the same room produces a good hum that can be heard at night when the rest of the house is very quiet.
Maybe it's time to go the route Lee has and water cool the rest of the rigs.

I'm glad I live under the flight pattern of Newark Airport.
Most of the time I have to leave music or the TV on to drown out the planes at night. :)

Shoes don't cost as much as computers and don't make any noise :p.

Well, noise not a problem, computer room is two floors below the bedroom. Electric bill not a problem, running 3 computers 24/7 increased bill $30 USD per month, just told kids not to play PS2 so much. Telling wife three pairs of shoes is enough...............now that's a problem!

Perspective is vital, if you see things your way.

I find the hum of my lab quite comforting. There are so many fans in here, even the monitors have two each. It's been like this for so long now that I think I'd miss it. (I think it even helps me concentrate)
Hey you guy's........You could try taking up saxaphone or something similar, Does'nt use any electricity and sounds bloody awful in the hands of a rank amature. After a month of "Practice:D " Your families will think the humm of computers that distract you from your saxaphone is just great and may never complain again. If they do, you'll know what to do.
