Hi Alex, my friend,

"Surpassed yet again by the mighty Lee armada."
Actually, I only have my three home systems on Folding.
The ones at work are not on a net, so I can not use them for folding.

Take care, and have a good holiday season.........

Bah, knocked down a place :( And from the looks of it Synthahol is gonna overtake me soon too :( Oh well, I'll still keep slugging it out and wait until you're not expecting it, then :2guns: :D

Edit: BYW why does the F&H sig say we have 30 members?

Perhaps you're looking at the active processors...? I have 3 computers running for a total of 3914MHz, so one member can have more than one machine crunching.

BTW, I got a friend o' mine to crunch for us. Not sure if he'll show up in the forums though, but if he does, give the Dutchie a hearty LN welcome :). His name should be Stefanic or something of the likes.

ok so i have just gotten into the whole a OC'n thing and have seen many people witht he F@H and SETI marks. where can i get the stuff to see how i bench out. i have been running the SETI@home program for about 3 months now. though dont know much about it just that its a good screen saver and it helps seti out.

Hello LoRdKyRoN,
I would first like to say :D :D Welcome to LiquidNinjas:D :D.

Second, get rid of that screensaver, it takes way to long to complete a work unit. You use our SETI and Folding at home FAQ's to set you up to speed. At our main page to the left there is a FAQ link, click that and then click on the sub-link, Folding or SETI.

Good luck, and if you have any questions just ask away! Someone will have the knowladge needed to help you.

Hi LoRdKyRoN,

First :D :D WELCOME :D :D to Liquid Ninjas and hopefully SETI and Folding.

Wes has given ya the good poop on the location of the SETI setup info.

When you get ready for the signatures of SETI and Folding, just go to the SETI and Folding Forums and the info and instruction for sig setup are there in Sticky's.
As Wes has also said, we will all be more than happy to help with questions and concerns you may have.

Ask away.

Take care, and Welcome again.......

do you guys add out the crunching power or is that added by the sig? i guess thats what i want to know?

lechumbl

Hi LoRdKyRoN,

We put that in ourselves.
It is just the total amount of processing power that we are using, by adding up all the CPU sizes.

It is just bragging (showoff) material.

Take care......

PS........:D :D WELCOME :D :D to out little SETI Team!!
Good to have you aboard and crunching.

Hi LoRdKyRoN,

I have put the correct format into your CP.
You need to spell your name as it is in F@H and you will be set.
I don't see your name listed on F@H stats yet, so the sig will be correct when it is posted in stats.

Take care.........

PS.....The link is working, just your name is not showing yet. It might take a day or two to show.

Hi Lord,

What, in particular, do you want to know on the crunching stats?
Be happy to answer any questions I can.

Take care...........

PS.......Where in Washington are you?

well for instance like you have 38 gigs of crunching power.. what stats are used to equate this number. and i like in skamania Wa, its a about 5 miles from the bonneville damn. on the columbia river.

i just want to take a quick sec and thank all of you that have helped me i have learned alot in the last week about OC'n and tweakin.

Hi Lord,

I was married in Stevenson, Skamania County in 1967, and spent many many happy hours bass fishing at the log pond, just west of town.

Anyway, the crunching stats are not really stats. That is the total amount of CPU power that each person is running. My 38.3 gigs is the total of 26 systems, all doing SETI.
Folding is running a total CPU power of 5.4 gigs for three systems at home..

These are added to our sigs, not included in the stats lines.

Hope that helps clarify things.

Anymore questions, let us know.

Take care........

Just add up the total CPU power that you are using for the given DC project.

Lee has 38.3 total in many computers for Seti and 5.4 for folding (I think 3 computers for folding).

Now I think I'll add up what I have :)

2000+@ 1.8g
1600+@ 1.5g
K62-III@ 550mhz
Pent@ 200mhz

4.05g on folding :D

I'am not folding atm, but here's my systems.

2200+@2035
1600+@1666
Duron 850@935
PIII@450
K62@500

for 5.5Ghz of crunching power.

Drake
01-02-2003, 07:55 PM
2100+@1833
1800+
500MHz P3
434MHz P2 celery
266MHz P1

too lazy to add, check mah sig :D
