Hello,
I'm going to put one of those 4" or 5" LCD monitors in/on my case and I need a video card sporting S-video.
The CPU is 900Mhz and I thought that a GF4Ti would be a bit much.
Maybe a 9000, GF3, TNT2, what do you think?
...And no, I won't be gaming with it.

Palit Microsystems DAYTONA Geforce4 MX 440SE AGP video card with 64MB SDR RAM from newegg for 45 bux. It appears to have svid and composite outputs.

I traded for them, wont cost me much of anything.
*grr* except for the IDE RAID and second DDR stick. Oh, and the PSU from hell to run all this (another PCPower&Cooling monster, but what a monster!)
Oh, fara, did you still want to buy one?
Yay, thread hijack.

Cheapest thing out there with S-Video, sez I.
I'm curious... what is the system for?

Mostly for Seti, maybe a MP3 player.
I'm tired of moving my monitor between the two.
And I thought a 5" screen in the case would look cool.
But I may get a full size monitor for it sometime.

Hey wacy,
What kinda screens are these ? I was gonna do that with a 15" screen from a laptop, but it seems to be an expensive and hard mod to do.

BTW this card gets about 3k 3d marks on a duron 950 and the composite output works good. I'll have no problem hooking a 4 or 5" monitor to this rig now :D I would recommend adding a 4cm fan to the gpu heat sink. It stays kinda hot to the touch even though it isn't in a case yet. That's alright. I was gonna ad a 4cm fan to the chipset anywho ;)
For the money and what I wanted to do it's an ok value :D
