View Full Version : NTFS question.
Hi,
I know this is a stupid question but I know s**t about HHD.
Can I use the command: format c: /z:32 with NTFS?
Regards, KODE.
Hi Kode :)
No, you can not use this command with NTFS file System.Use partition magic 8 to change the cluster size instead. You can change the cluster size on NTFS File System within Windows XP.Got to settings>control panel>performance and maintenance>administrative tools>computer management.Look for storage and disk management.Right click on the disk or partition that you desire to change the cluster size and choose the format option. Now, you're done, but remember: using this second option, you can not change the cluster size on the disk that contain the Operational system.
Hi sptw, How are you doing?
thanx for the info!
regards, KODE.
