ive knocked out 3 wu's that i know of at home, and lscgt unknowingly joined too (i had his server) because he has a dial-up will that screw him up?

Hi Synth,

In order to be effective, you need to be connected 24/7 to Folding.
If not, it can not download and upload unit for next fold.
There is, at this time, no ability to cache units, so only one at a time can be used. It will have to wait until you connect manually for up and download. A lot of down time waiting, unless you monitor 24/7 for next unit time.

hey, what about pause after complete (an option in gui) can he logon to net then hit continue and upload the results?

Hi Synth,

As far as I know you should be able to do that.
The only reason I said you would be best to uninstall, is you have to wait till the unit is finished and then send it.
If it finishes at, say 3:00 AM, and you don't get up till 7:00 AM, you have lost 4 hours of folding time.
Thing is, it will wait till it is connected, then send and receive unit anyway.
