Well, Seti is looking pretty grim, so I think I may start migrating to F@H for a while. I got my 2600+ box crunching away now. Haven't been able to find a way to hide the console tho :P

Im using a little FoldingMonitor though, seems spiffy. Guess ill have to work on a new folding sig soon.

Any info on hiding the client would be greatly appreciated.

I have a present to all you LN.com folders. Since I am now going to focus my attentions on folding, I am currently in process of creating a new F@H Signature script. It will incorporate many of the nice features I had planned for the SetiSig. But if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Its going to be a bit before F@H sig is ready though. Ill see how much spare coding time I have.

For anyone interested (and I doubt thats alot of you), here is the new beta (like 20% done) f@h sig file. Its only displaying text rather than graphics right now (which I need for testing), but for 4 hours worth of work and coding this damn thing from scratch, thats not bad ;)

You can change xuser=Player0 to whatever you're F@H username is. The parser (which is basically a bunch of reg expressions that make me cry) should be pretty stable now, so you should see your stats pop up.

The next things on my plate are:

1.) Save F@H Stats in to SQL
2.) Develop Timer so stats only loaded every 6 hours
3.) Create skin engine (and default skin)
4.) Put it all together
5.) Modify Seti Stats parser to store in SQL (yes, indeed)
6.) Develop Seti Skin
7.) Maybe...develop combo F@H and Seti Skin
8.) Maybe...develop custom skin admin.

ETA...sometime next week I think. Maybe F@H be done tommarow.

Well a lot of sig work done today, but only got a little start on the skinning engine, so it still only displays as a text page. But I finished all the SQL stuff today. So say...70% done :)

Your initial appearance on the LN Team Stats can take some time. It depends on the size of the work unit you get. Not all units are the same size, or the same amount of points. Some larger units take a good deal of time to crunch even on a decently fast machine. In addition, the Folding@Home stats do not seem to chug along conisistently in the updates at times.

Anyway...glad to see you Folding:)

Oh...BTW...we're closing in on being in the top 500 teams real soon. 538 as of now:) With the CPU power we have at LN, we have an excellent chance to be an elite Folding team.

Yeah, we definitely have a chance with Folding. Seti is dead for now. There's no way we'll reach anywhere near the top of Seti until the new version comes out. So, im dumping most of my horse power in to Folding now. Hope we can get some of the Seti guys to do the same.

Im really looking forward to Seti 2 however. I really want to start fresh with a DC project. The new stats sig will integrate quickly in to Seti2 as well :)

Only my home systems can do that.
