Is unlocking duron 950 the same as my xp1800

yup just close all the bridges, its actually a lot easier than the XP because you can do it with a pencil.

let us know how far you get, i have a theory that all the old durons topped out at 1100 and i want to see if anyone can get higher :)

No go on the overclock. This mobo wont let me go past 950 on durons. I first tried the unlock using defroster paint just as I did on my xp1800. I then hit the other L bridges to change the processor to default as a 1k instead of a 950. But the mobo still will not allow anything faster or slower than 950. I did reset bios.
I'd have to plug this in my kr7a in order to test it for overclockability and i'm just to exhausted lately to do that :(
