ATI and Linux

I have been trying to get linux up and running on my second machine and I keep getting this message :

(EE RADEON(0) No Valid Mode found for this DFP/LCD
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration

the monitor is a NEC Multisync A900.

Figured it out, Linux doesn't like TV out. :(

My org. Radeon 64mVIVO will not do TV out with Linux.

It would be nice 'cause that box is hooked up to my TV so I can't play with Linux on it.
