Hey guys,
We've been having a problem with our aopen 32x and up cd-rw's, with the westren digital harddrive that we use. Some how the cd-rw's are making installation a pain. If you have the hdd in the bay it takes literaly forever to install windows etc. If you have it hanging out of the bay installation is a breeze.
Here is what we have kinda dug up.. just wondering if anyone knows any other solutions?
This is a e-mail from our printer guy here at work...
Well I'm preping My uncle two new PC I check for this jumper and it is off. If Default is on I've allways been the old school pc guy. Default is better than high performance. So if the drive is set to UDMA doesn't it need a UDMA cable? not a normal IDE cable? I could be wrong Well after looking at Uncle Tom's 2 pc they both have standard Ide cable on the cdrw not Udma 66/100 cable and the drive is set to UDMA. This don't seem right.
