MCX462+T Sneak Peek!

This is one mutha of a heatsink friends. It easily outweighs my MCW462-UT in full dress (with TEC and coldplate). Testing begins tonight and will be wrapped up tomorrow. The full review will be along shortly thereafter.

Based on first impressions alone, I expect big things from this air cooled TEC monster.

Okay....last teaser pic. I've rigged up a Delta 80 x 38 68.5cfm fan to do the tough job of keeping this thing from going into meltdown. It looked so cool mounted on there I just had to do another pic:) (sorry the quality sucks).

holy cow! how tall is that thing? it looks like its about 6 inches tall! any problems with motherboard flexing and stuff?

I'll definitely be reporting on any of those issues dicki. It's units like these that live or die by those mobo mounting holes. It's a shame to see them going away on some newer boards now.
