well i'm looking for a new job... i've decided my current one sucks basically because i'm not doing anything (some people would think this is ideal)
i am thinking about casting my net over-seas and seeing what i can come up with so i was wondering if our international friends could point me in the right direction suggesting nice places and good companies or even good jobs ;)
i guess i'd better tell you a bit about me so you know what kind of stuff i'm going to be looking for
i'm 22, a graduate from reading university cybernetics department http://www.cyber.rdg.ac.uk/ and i'm currently employed as an embedded software engineer for BT in england.
for my degree (2.1 masters degree in cybernetics) i studied many things including AI, neural nets, control theory, control theory, more control theory ;) laser theory, measurement theory, robotics, biomechanics, rehabilitation engineering, mechatronics, neuroscience oh and did i mention control theory?
i've not done any formal programming but i can teach myself whatever i need umm and thats about it really... i don't want to limit myself to programming jobs (programmings fine but i like a little variety :) ) travel would be good especially to the far east (i can speak a little japanese)
so if anyone has any suggestions about where to start then let me know :D
