Hello All,
Whats the most important clock speed on a video card when looking for a good overclocker?? i see internal clock speed and memory clock but i dont know which one of the two has to be the high mhz for good overclocking. also which one would you prefer (im debating between them) GeForce 4 TI4600 (better price wise at about 200 bucks) or the Radeon 900 pro 128

Hey nar,
I don't really know what the best is. It usally depends on your price range, and what you plan on using the vard for. I will say that the radeon 9000 Pro is'nt a very good card, compared to any GF4 ti card. The 4200's are fairly cheap as of right now. If you would really like an ati card, go with the 8500 128Mb version.
Good luck, really it's up to you.

I'd get a 4200 or 8500 if I had to buy right now.
Otherwise the 9500 is rumored to be showing up soon and the wispers of the NV30 should make the current ones a lot cheaper. (when they come out)
I'm probally getting a 4200 in a week or two but that's me :)

If buying today for $200, I'd go with the Ti 4600 if you can find one at that price. That's a darn good price for a top-o-the-line GF4. My second choice is a Gainward Ti 4200 if you can find one for under $200, as it can usually clock right up to Ti 4600 speeds.
As far as settings go, upping both core and memory is important. But upping the core of the GF4 is more performance gaining at the moment.
