I was just wondering how much better is the new 8X AGP? I have a 4X Ti 4400 and was wondering if the 8X MX440 would be better than my card:confused: ,i DO have a 8X bord :worship:

No need at all. Compared to the 4400 the 8x MX440 is far slower.

8x agp won't mean much for I while I think.

AGP 8x only offers a very slight increase in performance. If your in the market for a new card, and have an 8x mobo, then sure, AGP 8x can be a small improvement but.... you have a Ti4400, so you have no reason to upgrade video anytime soon anyway.

last i read it was a marketing thing... no real performance gains. All of the agp "8x" cards come slightly overclocked to look like they perform better. Truth be told.... 4X isn't much greater than 2X. But... if ya wanna sell that card for one... I'll buy yours!

Yep...hold onto that Ti 4400 for sure. As Fara said the 440mx is a big step down. Go AGP X8 the next time you upgrade.
